I got this Telecaster from Monster Music, a client of ours in Independence, Missouri. It was my first re-acquisition of a Telecaster, as I had come to hate Telecasters when I was a young player; I thought only “country” players played Telecasters. What can I say; I was stupid back then. I got this great playing Mexican Tele mostly because of its versatile sound due to its 3-pickup configuration – the traditional Tele pickups in the neck and bridge position, and a single coil Strat pickup in the middle. So, not exactly a "true" Tele, but certainly a great sounding one.
