I’ve had this guitar since the early 80’s when I got it from my best friend Jeff Ehrlich, owner of LaSalle Music Store in West Hartford, CT. I forgot the circumstances under which I acquired this guitar, but I immediately put a Floyd Rose Tremolo on it for the EVH dive bombs and related whammy bar tricks which were totally “in” at the time. It was also the first Strat I acquired that had the traditional sunburst finish and three single coil pickup configuration (which is rare for a guitar player like me whose always quick to replace the bridge pickup with a humbucker)
